Ken thinks the Bremerton Chamber of Commerce screwed the pooch, or dropped the ball if you like. You can read and or watch his comment right……here.

Good on ya Ken.

I was going to bring up that whole breast feeding in public thing that made Ken feel “funny”, but I shall not. Instead of discussing those boobs, lets all send the boobs at the Bremerton Chamber of Commerce an email or three. Thank them for exposing people like Limbaugh, Malkin and far too many politicians for the liars that they are.

Then come on out to Bremerton on Saturday and support those who served.

All of them

The Bremerton Chamber of War

The 60th annual Armed Forces Festival in Bremerton is this weekend. The theme of this years event, “Saluting Those Who Serve.” But only if you agree with our message. The lapel pin patriots of the Bremerton Area Chamber of Commerce, decided that one group of veterans who have served their country, must not march in the parade.

Who are these rebel veterans and how dare they bring a message of peace to Norm Dicks parade of war mongering? They would be Veterans For Peace. The key word being…veterans. The scary word being…peace.

The Bremerton Chamber only wants to salute veterans who think a certain way. The Bremerton Chamber has an agenda to push all this week and peace, sure as hell is not on it.

See you on Saturday!

A McCain Hand Job, $4500

“Head” on over to the Hyatt in Bellevue tomorrow evening for the McCain pony show, if you can stomach it. Judging by his price list, John evidently thinks quite highly of himself. I hope Dino shows up!

John will be doing a show at 5:00, 5:12 and 5:14 p.m., as stamina is a continuing issue.

Have fun Medina and remember, we’re not laughing at you…..we’re just calling you fucking stupid.

Cheers!

Bush Party for Jenna

In a beautiful ceremony, hidden away on Daddy’s farm of fascist fun, Jenna Bush was given away. Daddy Bush also attended an “intelligence” briefing this day and yet, came away further confused.

Best wishes from most of America, Bush family.

  • 4075 U.S. deaths in Iraq
  • 498 U.S. deaths in Afghanistan
  • Veterans treatment, second to none
  • Iraqi civilian deaths since Democracy was spread? 83,000 to over a million.
  • Daddy’s #1 priority Osama bin Laden? Vacationing in Aruba with George Senior.
  • Norm Dicks? Contemplating funding another year of occupations.

Party on.

Fast Ferry Leaders Await the Inevitable

Posted in Events, News, Washington State, politics with tags , , , , , , , on May 9, 2008 by lens1

The inevitable Tim Eyman email will soon arrive on The Cascadia Center email machines. Fast ferry leaders from Port Townsend to Kitsap Transit and the confused representative from landlocked Tenino (OK I kid), met to discuss among other things, ferries and….wait for it, increased car tab fees!

Read about it at the Kitsap Sun. Then wait for the email of extraordinary length to arrive from Tim.

Also be forewarned, Tim is out O cash, he needs your support. Think of it as an increase in your car tab fees for Tim.

If not transportation, then why not Tim?

Fashizzle the Nuclear Fizzle

So says Don Brunell, the president of the Association of Washington Business. Thanks Dino, I mean Don.

In other clean technology news, the “slow train of Kuwati death sand” is inching its way to Idaho. This shipment of DU/Lead filled beach sand is worth several million dollars to a Boise based company called, American Ecology. Funny they should use the word ecology in their name…

Heartland Institute “Tim Eymans” Wenatchee

Dan Miller of the Tobacco Institute of Lies and Huge Payola, Heartland Institute, wrote a poor confused soul in Wenatchee to set him straight about Global Warming. Read it here. Dan used to work for the Chicago Sun-Times. Dan is one of those “journalists” who has been peddling propaganda for a long time.

Dan, can I call you Dan? What in Gods cooling planet are you doing reading the Wenatchee World? If trying to direct poor Wenatcheeist’s to your institutes stupid theories is all you have left, wow. Propaganda’s failing you Danny…

Some words of wisdom Dan. Words spoken by the President of Shell Oil, John Hofmeister at a recent event in ubur-liberal Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. “As far as Shell is concerned, the debate over global warming is over – arguing only delays the inevitable and increases its cost.” Time to send Shell Oil a Tim Eyman email, eh Dan?

For the confused citizens of Wenatchee, read about Dan and his Heartland Institute, here and one more here. Enjoy…..and be kind to your yoga instructor.

Unusual Waterborne Behavior

Posted in Events, News, Washington State, politics with tags , , , , , , , , on May 5, 2008 by lens1

Last summer Washington State Ferries released photos of two humans who were accused of unusual behavior on a ferry. Seattle newspapers “wrestled” with their journalistic moral compasses, law enforcement went to terrorist alert mauve, ferry workers snapped photos and The FBI investigated.

Fortunately for the Homeland, they were just brown skinned consultants. More than likely, they were brown skinned French consultants, consulting for Northrop Grumman. Mystery solved.

Rest easy America.

Operation Drunk White Guy

Posted in Events, News, Washington State, politics with tags , , , , , , , , on May 4, 2008 by lens1

Began yesterday. Pot bellied drunk white guys in boats across the nation, have begun securing the homelands waterways. No word yet from the glorious Director of Homeland Security on how many terrorists were snatched, detected and or run over and drowned.

In local waters, from Port Angeles to Olympia, boat loads full of terrorist watchin white guys, have deployed in dinghies, fishing boats and million dollar pleasure craft. While no terrorists have been caught locally, sales of Rainier Beer and Hustler Magazines are reportedly, “through the roof”.

Very Busy May Day 2008

Posted in Events, News, Washington State, activism, peace, politics with tags , , , , , , on May 3, 2008 by lens1

Seattle Longshore Local 19? They say end the war. They mean what they say. So they did something about it. Check out some photos and “words”, here.

I wonder if Tim Eyman marched on May Day? Nope! Still begging for money.

Patty Murray? May Day? Another Nada. She is Bringing home the bacon for struggling asparagus farmers.

War Congressman Norm Dicks? Very busy little Representative. He supported the Longshoremen and Immigrants by threating France and Alabama. Then he found the internal fortitude, to post a very helpful timetable for the arrival of the fabulous Bush “stimulus” checks. Check it out!

Pretty clear what some folks priorities are.
